Jon Bauer is a perfectionist when it comes to TV installation. He responded quickly to my original query and arrived on time to do the installation. He explained everything to us about our choices for wiring and outlets and worked tirelessly in a very difficult situation behind our walls. This required creativity and determination, which he has in abundance. The work took many hours longer than he had expected but he did not increase his price. He cleaned up all the debris from the drilling he had had to do and even took it with him when he left.
BE CAREFUL AND EXPRESS CLEARLY WHAT YOU WANT FROM THEM BEFORE YOU MAKE AN APPT! I’ve had these guys come and install 2 big 65 inch tvs for me before and did an excellent job for a great rate, so I called them up to mount a small 42’ inch tv with a mount for $160. Half way through they ask if I need wire mold so the wires don’t move on the wall, I said no you shouldn’t be able to see the wires behind the wall? They then said it would be an additional $80 charge to hide the wires behind the wall.
We’ve had an unfortunate experience with Jon. A little difficult to get in contact with is where we started. He seemed to never be able to give us a date and time he could come by to start installing our two televisions. Obviously, it is very difficult to plan around that. He finally made it one evening at 5:30pm and stated that he could do one tv that day and should take 2-3 hours. I understand that things happen, but at 11:00pm I finally had to ask him to leave. We rescheduled him to finish the work that weekend at 10am.
